This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Gettysburg chapter.

Disclaimer:  I don’t in any way assume Jennifer Aniston has the same vindictive response as fans have had thus far (though if she does, she’s certainly allowed to!).  This piece is not intended to perpetuate the supposed rivalry therein, but to express the reaction held by many following the news.

And if you didn’t remember the circumstances of Brad Pitt’s prior relationship with Jennifer Aniston (to whom he was married at the time of allegedly beginning his relationship with Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie), the Internet has certainly reminded you over the past twenty-four hours.

Exhibit A?  Her 2015 marriage to (gorgeous) actor Justin Theroux.

Yes, Jen’s been doing just fine since Pitt’s debacle.

Chances are she cares far less about the divorce announcement than the Internet thinks.
