Ty Phillips is a freshman football player here at Georgia Southern with a major in sports management. He is from Moultrie Georgia and chose to come to Southern because not only is it close to home but because of the high standards held by the coaches here. Having always played football, he didn’t second guess the chance to extend his craft into college. Ty explains that the hardest thing about being an athlete, is having to wake up early in the morning and the amount of dedication and time it consumes.
