As a lover of music, I do deem it necessary to spread the blessing of music with other music heads. Lately a lot of new R&B artists have been making it to the radio and one artist that has recently gotten popular that I love so very much is Brent Faiyaz. I don’t know if you’ve heard him before but if you’re into early 2000’s love song type vibes, this is definitely your guy. If you’re anything like me, you found out about this gem through HBO’s Insecure series starring Issa Rae (Issa playlist really is fye and that is where a lot of my new music stems from). Brent Faiyaz has music out as Brent Faiyaz and Sonder, which is a group with him and two producers, Atu and Dpat.

A.M. Paradox He has quite a lot of music out but I have to say that my favorite album by him would have to be A.M Paradox. This album is eargasmic honestly. Like issa vibe forreal. My top three songs on that guy would have to Lovely, Poison and Insecure. His voice is so pretty! Whenever I’m listening to him it’s almost like consuming. He’s very calming to listen to. He’s also very versatile; you could add this to a homework playlist, a sex playlist, getting ready for bed, allat good stuff.

Sonder Son  This is another great album by him. His choice is approaches for his songs on this album is very nice. Producer selections were great and the overall feel of it is unmatched. It features songs like Gang over Luv, Stay Down, and Talk 2 U. This is that concert in the shower for about an hour music. This man really sums up the early 2000’s, to me, in this album. This album is very nostalgic to our R&B hits back then. If you’re one of those people that have been waiting on the return of “real music”, I’d definitely recommend this to listen to.

Into This album is a creation of the group, Sonder, that Brent is a part of. This album is only 7 songs long but will have you rethinking your whole love life by the end. Feel is the very first song on this and it’s a blow to the heart. I was like damn, why he gone put me in my feelings like this? This album is very smooth and well put together, to me. Each song compliments the next and that’s a beautiful thing. Albums that you can play straight through? This is definitely one of these. Music you can do your make up to and clear your mind? This is it. They did their thing on this album and if you’re into some real cool love songs, you should go ahead and bless your life up by listening to this man’s beautiful voice.

I’m telling you man, this man has me singing my heart out like I’ve been married and hurt every time. Good music will do that to ya. Do yourselves a favor and take your heart and soul a favor; take this Faiyaz trip (Faiyaz (adj.) definition: fye ass).
