Jillian Sloane is a member of the Women’s Track Team at Georgia Southern. We caught up with her to ask about track and her homecoming plans!
How long have you been running track?
I’ve been running track for 10 years, since I was in the fifth grade.
What do you run?
I run the 800 and I also anchor the 4×4 relay.
What’s your most favorite part about being on the track team?
My favorite part about being on the track team is that I know I always have a family and support system here on campus.
So homecoming is now here, what will you be participating in?
For homecoming, I’m definitely going to the game. I like to support the other athletes. Also, the track and field team will be in the parade so I’m really excited about that.
What’s your favorite part about homecoming?
My favorite part about homecoming is that it’s the time that the school really shows a lot of school spirit and we all come together and just have fun!
