It’s officially October. The temperature is getting cooler, the leaves are starting to change color, and my birthday is right around the corner. All of this can only mean one thing… it’s midterm season. We’re a third of the way done with the semester, and all of our work is finally starting to build up. Between meeting with lab partners, writing five-plus page papers, and staying up all night studying for those huge exams, our appearance takes a back seat. We choose comfort over style (because let’s be honest, the last thing you want to worry about is popping a button on your too tight skinny jeans when you’re trying to find the derivative of an equation… since when did math start having more letters than numbers?), but being cozy doesn’t mean we have to look sloppy. Some of this season’s biggest trends are sweatshirts and sneakers, so we can now ace all of our assessments in style.

And for more affordable options, Philip Lim actually recently launched a collection for Target (http://www.target.com/c/3-1-phillip-lim-for-target-brand-shop/-/N-55ji0) and TopShop (us.topshop.com) and ASOS (us.asos.com) have some great choices.
So for your next exam, leave the Georgetown hoodie and old Converse behind and glam it up!
