#4: Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt. 2
Whether you are a Twi-heart or not, most likely, you have been dragged to one of the Twilight films by either one or multiple of your friends.  Above all, these films are hilarious because of their mediocre acting and over dramatization of everything.  While part 1 was both disappointing for true fans and bizarre for everyone else, part 2 is simply a must see because of the desire to see the Twilight craze come to an end.  For the fans, it will be a nice rap up to the series, and for everyone else there will most likely be plenty of scenes with a shirtless Taylor Lautner.  In theaters November 2012.

#3: The Avengers
If you have enjoyed any of the numerous Marvel superhero films throughout the year, you will enjoy The Avengers.  The best part of this movie is that all of the original movie stars from their respective Marvel movies will appear in The Avengers.  The movie promises favorites such as Iron Man and Thor and the development of new characters such as the Black Widow.  Like most Marvel movies, this one will most likely not disappoint.  In theaters May 2012 in both 2D and 3D!

#2: Dark Knight Rises
The final installment of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman series has been highly anticipated since the successes of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.  Although the movie will lack the star power of Heath Ledger, the star-studded cast will be joined by Anne Hathaway and cutie, Joseph Gordon Levitt.  The movie picks up eight years after The Dark Knight takes place.  Although time has passed, The Dark Knight Rises guarantees to be a thrilling and exciting conclusion to this Batman series.

#1: The Hunger Games
Based on the bestselling books by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games movies are almost guaranteed to be a box office hit.  The movie stars Jennifer Lawrence as the protagonist, Katniss.  The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopia in North America, where a totalitarian “Capital” rules over 12 districts of Panem.  To remind its citizens of the defeated rebellion, the Capital hosts the horrific Hunger Games, where a boy and a girl from every district are sent into an arena to fight to the death ultimately resulting in one victor.  The books are heart wrenching and inspiring, filled with action, sadness, humor, and a captivating love story, and the movie trailer suggests it will not disappoint.  Set to hit theaters this March!
