Tonight there are some pretty awkward vibes running through campus. Not only do you have to figure how to crop your brother’s jersey that you stole so it looks somewhat cute but also, your best friend has recently revealed to you that she is a die-hard Pats fan. Although that is clearly a bad decision you have to put on your best fake smile and try to be nice as you watch the big game together over a bucket of wings. Here are some things to look at on the internet to take your mind off of the game and that homework that you obviously are not going to get to tonight.
First up are the best commercials from the Super Bowl. Although we pretend to really be into the game, we all know we just watch for the commercials…

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off may be one of the greatest films in cinematic history. Although no Oscar was awarded, friends and family alike might disown you if you don’t know the line…”Bueller…Bueller…” Ferris is back this year and even though he is a few pounds heavier and a lot older, he’s still got it. This commercial is witty and definitely will produce an audible chuckle. I just wish this were real life – DMV’s with ice cream dispensers? Rain that makes you LOSE WEIGHT? Where are those clouds and how can I get them to hover above me at all times?

Although this is a total “man’s man” commercial anyone can appreciate a dude riding a rhino like a mechanical bull. It made me wonder what the girl version of this commercial would involve – John Mayer serenading me on a beach while Ryan Reynolds gives me a back massage? Sounds about right.

This is not from this year’s Super Bowl but it simply is one of the finest commercials out there and deserves to be watched again. The little boy is actually the cutest kid alive and no one can help themselves from laughing at his sass and epic slap.
