#GTownTrending: The Powerful People Edition

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Georgetown chapter.

In honor of President’s Day weekend, let us take a moment to be awestruck by and ridden with jealousy of the most powerful people in the United States today. Move over Barack and Michelle, because these heavy hitters may have more influence on the American masses than you do.

Beyonce ruled (or fake ruled) the Inauguration, trampled her critics by performing the National Anthem live at a press event and then killed it at the Super Bowl. Look at this sneak peak of her interview with Oprah’s “Next Chapter”: Here

From Go Daddy commercials (some widely inappropriate at the Super Bowl **cough cough Bar Refaeli**) to winning major NASCAR races, this girl is pretty awesome: Danica Patrick Wins Daytona 500 Pole

Sometimes you only need a picture and a little sentence attached to it to make your whole day. Bravo to the two anonymous girls who created the tumblr #whatshouldwecallme. In their honor, provided is a link to the site and a link to an interview with its creators on Forbes.com
