So we’ve featured many a thing on the Campus Style Blog, but this week I’m going to do something a bit different. Yes, there are many stylish people out and about in Georgetown, but Georgetown University and the area surrounding it is as classic as it gets. It is easy to forget how beautiful our school and Georgetown itself are, but there has been a time or two where I’ve been walking down Prospect and it hits me. While trends come and go, Georgetown will never go out of style. I understand how cheesy this sounds, but it’s true. For those of you who are here on campus for your first Georgetown spring, you’ll see what I’m talking about soon enough, once it actually gets warm out. Until then stay bundled up and keep on dreaming of cherry blossoms and sunshine.

A gem right here in Georgetown, when the canal isn’t lacking water, it’s actually really pretty. Instead of walking down M Street, try walking down the canal. Grab some Starbucks or your friends and head down there, because 1. it’s like a secret spot and you’ll feel really cool, and 2. you can pretend you’re on an adventure… I did.

Baked and Wired gets their own photo, just because. First off, the cupcakes are amazing and seriously underrated. It is rare that you find a line, and the cupcakes probably have the best names ever. Ever. This may sound like an exagerration, but check out the Unporked Elvis Cupcake. It is life changing. Plus, Baked and Wired get serious style points for location, decor, and overall positivity.

Last, but not least, the famous Hoya Saxa Sign. I’m not encouraging you all to stand and stare at it, because that would be weird, but it is a quintessential Georgetown site.
