There are so many foods and snacks we all loved growing up. Whether it was a sugary cereal or cookie, there was always a delicious snack available. Nobody really judged us about what we ate when we were kids, except our parents who definitely wanted us to eat our veggies.

So why is it once we hit a certain age, it becomes weird for us to eat certain foods and snacks? That’s not fair. Should we be healthier as we grow up? Yes. Should we stop eating delicious things we love because other people will judge us? No!

Here’s a list of snacks that no one should judge us for eating at any age!

Trix

Their slogan “Trix are for kids” is something so many of us remember, but should we as young adults really listen to that? It was fun when we were young and we could tell our parents not to eat our favorite cereal, but now who’s going to stop you? Go for it! Have a bowl of Trix! They’re fruity and delicious. Trix are NOT just for kids. They’re for everyone!

Bagel Bites

Pizza is a childhood favorite, but it’s also something multitudes of adults love as well. Now, adults tend to eat regular pizza from pizzerias (which is amazing!), but they feel awkward eating Bagel Bites. Why? No one cares if you’re eating pizza or a bagel so why does it matter if it’s combined? It’s quick and easy to make a snack/lunch, and everyone who wants to should eat it!

Little Bites

Muffins are a great breakfast option, but sometimes we don’t have fresh muffins from the bakery or grocery store. Sometimes they’re too expensive or your favorite flavor is missing. Well, Little Bites muffins are quick, cheap, delicious alternatives to traditional muffins. They have multiple kinds which makes them versatile and they are prepackaged which means you can take them anywhere!

Kraft Macaroni and Cheese

Macaroni and cheese may not be a fancy dish, but it’s still a meal! Some adults even make their own mac & cheese so why should they be opposed to using a boxed mix? There’s nothing wrong with taking the easier route. There is even an Easy Mac product that takes minutes in the microwave for those nights one doesn’t want to cook! An easy and delicious meal that has no age restriction! Also, is it just me or are the shaped ones the best?

Cosmic Brownies

Almost all adults love brownies, so why do they ignore the cheap and delicious brownies found in the snack section? Its packaging isn’t even childish as it simply has a rainbow. Kids who once would trade a bag of their favorite snack or even their entire sandwich for these during lunch are no longer buying them because they think they’re for kids? These are a great snack for anyone of any age!

Smiley Fries

Everyone loves some form of potato item. No one judges if someone has mashed potatoes or baked potatoes, but some people question adults eating fries. Specifically, the smile ones which are fun and delicious! If you’re having a bad day, you can simply heat up some fries and they’ll be smiling at you! Corny but a great salty snack or side to your dinner!

Dunkaroos

Cookies and icing in one package?! Yes, please! These snacks were so good and fun to eat. They were perfect for those with a sweet tooth and could easily fit in a lunch box! They were a favorite 90s and early 2000s snack but unfortunately, they were taken off the shelves in 2012. However, an actual good thing (albeit a small thing) that happened in 2020 was these were brought back! So good to relive your childhood memories and have some dunkaroos!

Firecracker ice pops from Popsicles

The icecream man coming down your block was always an exciting moment when we were kids. Some trucks had ice pops that looked like characters from shows such as Spongebob and the Powerpuff Girls! With those came the Firecracker popsicle! These red, white and blue desserts were such a refreshing treat on hot summer days! Adults can still have them to cool off during the warm seasons!

Evidently, there are lots of snacks and foods that may not be “meant” for adults, but anyone of any age should feel free to eat these as well as any other snack or food! This is not a list for you to say you only need junk food or snacks. Instead, it’s encouragement for you to eat whatever things you want regardless of the target audience!

Now, go buy a snack you’ve been craving for years but haven’t felt comfortable buying because you’re an adult! Remember, as an adult, you make your own choices so why not choose whatever you want to eat?
