Round Table: Her Campus at Geneseo as Starbucks Drinks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Geneseo chapter.

Starbucks is a go-to dining hall for many Geneseo students. Many of our correspondents drink it too. Since Starbucks is a huge phenomenon, we have decided to discover what drinks we resemble the most.

Margaux Carmel

My usual order is an iced chai latte with almond milk. But if I were to go with one that most fits my personality, I would have to go with a classic pumpkin spice latte. Why? Mrs. Kasha Davis called me basic last semester at Drag Ball, and I cannot let her down. I will be living my entire life to honor this designation, and the embodiment of myself as a Starbucks drink must not diverge from this.

I hate coffee so I’m normally having Iced Tea stuff/that strawberry drink, but THE BEST drink possible is salted caramel hot chocolate. Salty, sweet, chocolate-y, it has every good flavor possible.

Rebecca Williamson

I would probably be something really sweet like a hot chocolate. That’s usually what I order in the winter. I even add at least two extra pumps of mocha to my hot chocolate. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m too sweet.

Now we’re all craving Starbucks …

Margaux (they/them) is a senior Women and Gender Studies major at SUNY Geneseo. Outside of Her Campus, they work at Geneseo's Office of Diversity and Equity, is on the executive board of Pride Alliance, and is an active Safe Zone trainer. They love to write about diversity, mental health, and environmentalism, with the occasional goofy topic or two (or five). Margaux hopes to someday be the coolest gender studies professor you will ever have.
