Dear writer’s block,

When asked to write an open letter I honestly blanked. I don’t really have a bone to pick with anyone right now (except for a majority of the federal government). In the interest of not going all nerdy poli-sci major on everyone and not holding any unnecessary grudges, I was totally lost. I tossed around a plethora of ideas before casting them aside. Nothing seemed good enough. Not even good enough to start and add to my collection of half written articles I totally lost steam on writing. Frustrating as this was, it gave me something to write about.

Writer’s block, please chill. Take several seats. Know that I completely blame you for not getting as much accomplished as I could have this spring break. You are entirely at fault for the aforementioned collection of half-finished articles in my Google Drive. You are the reason I often find myself working well into the night just before an assignment is due (and because I am a PRO-crastinator). Go away please. You’re even causing me issues right now. This letter would probably be longer if it weren’t for you.
