1. Booksmart- Available on Hulu 

After spending their entire high school years hyper focused on getting into Ivy League Colleges, straight A and responsible best friends Amy and Molly, learn that their classmates who spent their time partying also got into the same prestigious school. They then feel left out and realize they should have spent more time having fun. On the eve of their high school graduation, they try to cram 4 years of partying into one night. 

2. Hustlers- Available on Showtime 

Based on a true story, this movie follows a group of criminally-savvy strippers who join together to lure in, drug, and rob their wealthy Wall Street clients. With themes of friendship, empowerment, desperation, and temptation, this movie may have you question yourself as you root for the success of these immoral crimes. This star-studded cast includes Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, and Cardi B.

3. John Tucker Must Die- Available on Amazon Prime 

After discovering that John Tucker, star basketball player and serial cheater, was secretly dating them all at once, three popular girls from different cliques join together to get their revenge. By enlisting the help of a new girl at school they trick John Tucker into falling in love so that they can get their ideal revenge: breaking his heart. 

4. Easy A- Available on Netflix

After a false rumor about her hooking up with an imaginary college student spreads around her school, high school student, Olive Penderghast, finds herself at the center of welcomed attention. She then decides to help social outcasts by letting them tell the school they also hooked up with her in exchange for money. The more the rumors spread of her promiscuity, the more Olive has to deal with the consequences.

5. 10 Things I Hate About You- Available on Disney Plus

This American teen romance starring Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, centers arounds sisters Bianca and Kat. Bianca, the social and popular sister, is not allowed to date until her ill-tempered and un-datatable older sister, Kat starts dating too. Events start to unfold once Cameron, the lovable nerd pining after Bianca, pays bad-boy Patrick to go out with Kat so he can ask Bianca out.

6. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen- Available on Disney Plus 

Moving from New York City to suburban New Jersey comes as a shock to Lola who feels as if her life is not exciting enough. No matter what, Lola will do whatever it takes to be a star. In order to appear more interesting she begins to tell extravagant lies to “spice” up her life and be the center of attention at her school.

7. Bratz- Available on Netflix

Based on the popular toys the Bratz dolls, this live action adaptation follows four friends: Chloe, Sasha, Yasmin, and Jade as they navigate high school. Unfortunately for their friendship, the strict, cliquey hierarchy of high school divides the friends as they try to go against the norm and remain friends. 

8. Assassination Nation- Available on Hulu

Created by Sam Levinson, the director of the hit HBO show Euphoria, this movie offers the same visually pleasing aesthetic and wild plot. Set in the city of Salem, this movie follows four high school friends: Lily, Bex, Sarah, and Em. When a computer hacker leaks the personal messages, photos, and search history of the city’s residents and exposes their darkest secrets, the entire city devolves into chaos and violence. With the blame of the hack placed on Lily and her friends, they must survive the night as their neighbors try to kill them.
