This Thursday, November 10th, The GIVE Center, partnering with the Women’s Center, is putting on an event geared towards young women entering the workforce. This “Start Smart” program will teach women how to negotiate for an appropriate salary when applying for jobs. The idea of arguing for pay can be touchy, but this event hopes to enable women to advocate for themselves in the job market. Smart Shop will be happening from 1:00 – 3:00 PM in the GIVE Center, so please stop by!Â
