English with a concentration in creative writing.

Where is your hometown?

I grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Where do you work?

When I’m home for breaks, I work in a BBQ restaurant called Smokejack.

Are you in a relationship?

I’m in a very committed relationship with a man named Bobby Gover. He’s wonderful.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I do a lot of reading and a lot of crafting.

Any other interesting hobbies?

Crocheting baby blankets. Everyone I know is having babies!

What are some of your favorite stores?

Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People.

Any plans for the future?

I plan to be a high school English teacher, preferably for grades eleven and twelve.

What strange talent do you have?

I can read palms. Waaaaaay cheaper than Sister Nina.

What’s one enlightening experience you’ve had while at college?

Joining Kappa Delta. I was never a sorority girl, but it ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. They are more than just sisters, they are my best friends and the girls I will have standing next to me at my wedding.

What advice can you give regarding college, especially graduate school?

Do it. People can say it’s too expensive all they want, but a master’s is the way to a good career, whether it’s experience or networking.

What are some items on your bucket list?

-Go to all 7 continents.

-Sky dive

-Run a marathon

-Write a novel

-Own at least 7 cats
