With Halloween only a few days away, you may find yourself struggling to find a costume for that spooky party you were invited to. You don’t want to empty your wallet on a store-bought costume, and you don’t want to dress up as something that everyone else will be dressed as. We all know the difficulty of finding the perfect Halloween costume that is cheap and not overdone, so here are some cute, easy, inexpensive costumes that will be sure to turn heads on Halloween night!

Fruit

Fruit is such a simple yet cute costume idea. All you need is an oversized T-shirt the same color as your favorite fruit and a sharpie to draw on details. If you want to get fancy, you can make a hat out of green construction paper for the stems and leaves.

Pigs in a Blanket

To dress up as this little pun, just wear pink, put on a pig nose and some pig ears, and wrap yourself in a blanket. You’ll look cute and be warm, too!

Eleven from Stranger Things

Calling all Stranger Things fans! If you want to dress up as this lovable little hero on Halloween, just wear a pink dress and walk around with a box of Eggo waffles. You can even put some fake blood under your nose for the full effect.

Three Hole Punch

Jim Halpert had some hilarious costumes throughout the duration of The Office, but this one by far is my favorite – and it’s easy to recreate! Just wear a white T-shirt and glue three black construction paper circles to one side. Some people may be confused, but fans of The Office will find it hilarious. If you don’t dig the three hole punch look, just arrange the three circles into a face to be a ghost instead. You can either pay homage to Jim or be true to the spooky nature of Halloween. Either way, this costume is effortless and not at all costly!

Hopefully these few costume ideas provide some inspiration for ways to be creative on Halloween without sacrificing a large amount of time or money. Not all fancy and intricate store-bought costumes are worth it – sometimes the best Halloween costumes start with plain T-shirts. You can definitely look uniquely spooky without emptying your wallet!
