Cohort Cutie: Lauren Harrison

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at GCSU chapter.

Year: Senior

Major: Nursing

Hometown: Tignall

Career goal: I haven’t decided what kind of nurse I want to be yet, but I really want to work with the elderly.

What inspires you: People who give selflessly and expect nothing in return.

Clubs/organizations: Pi Chi, GCANS, intramural sports

Favorite color: Pink

Favorite book: Silas Marner by George Eliot

The best part of being in the cohort: I love all the people I’ve met in nursing school.

What made you decide on nursing: I like being able to help and comfort people when they’re most vulnerable. It’s a little cheesy, but I feel like I’m not good at anything else except for this, so I’ve always felt like nursing was the right choice.

What’s the grossest thing you had to do: This is really gross, but someone pooped in my hand once.
