TikTok has basically taken the world by storm in what seems like a matter of months. Now that school is online and we’re being forced to isolate in our family homes, I’ve spiraled into a deep, dark hole of endless TikToks. I’ve seen it all. I’ve learned that watching TikToks day and night seems to come with a price. This app has made me spend my money on things and add random items to my Amazon cart left and right. The least I could do is share my discoveries.

    1. Fake Designer Belts and Bags

A Gucci belt is something that I’ve always had my eye on but could never in a million years actually bring myself to splurge on. The other day I found a TikTok that showed how to get a fake one on Amazon that looks exactly like the real thing. The pictures don’t show the logo, probably for copyright reasons, but the reviews mention it. It was less than $20! Can’t beat that.

Another Gucci item that I definitely cannot afford are their bags. If you haven’t heard of DH Gate on TikTok, you’ve probably been living under a rock. This website has so many knock-off designer items from Louis Vuitton, to Cartier, to Chanel. As of right now, shipping might be a little delayed considering all of the items come from China, but you can’t beat the price.

   2. Hair Tutorials

Another thing that TikTok has been successful at is making me step out of my comfort zone. I’ve come across a multitude of easy hair tutorials that I’ve never tried before. Some are boho and some are classic but since they’re all under a minute-long videos, they are super simple to accomplish.

  3. Recipes

I am no chef, but I love to cook or bake every so often. I am a sucker for super easy recipes that don’t take a long time and require minimal ingredients. I have discovered that TikTok recipes are perfect for people like me. I came across Oreo cheesecake cookies that you can make from ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. The recipe is also crazy simple. Something that I have yet to make but that I have been dying to try is the “Better than Taco Bell Crunch Wrap Supreme.” Anyone that knows me knows that the Crunch Wrap Supreme is my favorite thing to order from Taco Bell so when I saw this recipe, I knew I had to drop a like.

  4. Beauty Products

The beauty section of TikTok is absolutely never-ending and is constantly providing me with new products to research and buy. I used to watch 20-minute product reviews on YouTube but now that I have TikTok, I can discover new viral products in minutes. Some of the products that have caught my eye are the Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation for only $9, the Fake Bake Self Tan, and the Hempz body wash in the scent Sweet Pineapple and Honey Melon.

TikTok has literally become such a happy place for me in my times of boredom. There are so many creative people on there with such cool ideas that will be sure to occupy some of your time during this quarantine period. I hope you research my favorites and find some of your own!
