It’s that time of the year! Spooky season is officially upon us. Halloween is just around the corner, and that means it’s time for everyone to pull out that costume they’ve been planning for months and have the spookiest night of their lives! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because of the atmosphere that surrounds it. I love how into it people can get and it’s the best feeling in the world to let go and have fun with your friends every Oct. 31!
Most importantly, the fun little traditions and festivities are really what make Halloween so special. I love watching Halloween movies, carving pumpkins, decorating for Halloween and especially eating some of my favorite fall snacks (which for me includes literally anything pumpkin flavored). Halloween also means that it is officially fall! Even though in Florida sometimes it doesn’t feel like fall, when that nice cool breeze starts to come in and the humidity slowly comes down, it is easily the best feeling in the world (even though it’s still 80 degrees outside). It is the perfect time in the middle of the semester to look forward to something other than midterms.
There are tons of ways that people celebrate Halloween from watching scary movies, going to a Halloween party or maybe even going trick-or-treating! But one thing is for certain. However you celebrate Halloween, having the ultimate Halloween playlist is a must. Personally, my favorite way to get in the spirit for any holiday is with fun festive music, and Halloween is no exception.
