Swimsuit Brands to Covet This Summer

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

Tired of shopping at Target or Victoria’s Secret for your swimwear? Do you want something different?  These less-known bathing suit brands will make you the talk of the beach (or pool). And don’t worry, they might be pricey, but there’s a reason why each brand is worth the splurge in case you need some justification. Happy shopping!

L*Space: First of all, holy options! L*Space’s build your bikini section features more bathing suit combinations than most people would know what to deal with.  L*Space allows customers to choose different tops and bottoms, and offers inumerable colors, styles, and patterns.  Looking for a more modest look? Their one-piece collection offers trendy and unique suits, perfect for any beach bod!

Why it’s worth the splurge: You can design a personalized bathing suit! Having options is priceless, and so is not accidently matching some random girl at the pool.

Maaji: If you’re into bohemian style, then this brand was made just for you! Maaji swimwear features trendy-yet-unique styles and patterns, with a “fashion” section that goes beyond the stereotypical bikini. PLUS, every bathing suit is reversible!

Why it’s worth the splurge: This one is pretty obvious. You’re basically getting two bathing suits in one. What a steal! You won’t have to pack as many bathing suits for your next trip, and therefore you will have more room for other clothes. It’s genius.

Trina Turk: The Trina Turk swimwear collection offers another rich variety of bathing suits for any body shape. While many of their print suits offer matching cover-ups, they also offer solid colors and one-pieces. Plus, they offer a cool rash guard collection.

Why it’s worth the splurge: Who doesn’t want a cool rash guard to match your bathing suit? You could buy one and totally take up surfing! It’s a foolproof plan.
