Rapper and Activist Nipsey Hussle Dies in Shooting

Nipsey Hussle, famous rapper and activist, has died. A Grammy nominee, activist and father, the 33-year old leaves behind two kids (Kross Asghedom, Emani Asghedom) and a longtime girlfriend of five years, Lauren London.

Hussle was gunned down in the parking lot outside of his store, multiple times. This tragic event occurred at 3:25 p.m. Five shots were fired into his torso, while one shot was fired at his head. Hussle was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

Hussle and London had just recently participated in a “Couples Quiz” for GQ shortly before his death which put Hussle in the direct limelight once again. Fans fawned over his “beautiful and dedicated relationship” with Lauren along with his knowledge of her.

Nipsey was a super imperative role model in his community. He became a proactive figure in the hip hop community. He created great opportunities and developed outlets for the disenfranchised.
