1. Winter has slowly, but surely come to an end and the combat boots have been traded in for rain boots.
2. The countdown to the number of classes we have left (that cause us the misfortune of losing our beauty sleep) has officially begun.
3. Finals week is creeping up and the IV filled with coffee has been prepared.
4. The thought of returning textbooks, aka walking into a death trap of impatience (lines, lines, and MORE lines), has become a dreaded task.
5. You’ve probably asked yourself at least five times, “Is it too early to pack up my room?”
6. Dreams of sand, warm water, and soaking up the sun occur way too often. It’s been so long that you’ve actually forgotten what the beach is like.
7. Florals and fedoras. Need I say more?
8. Internship hunting has taken over. Checking your email has become an hourly routine.
9. If interning isn’t part of the summer plans, you and your best friend have already discussed what your days will consist of (i.e. eating, tanning, partying, vacations).
10. The May issue (the next best thing to the September issue) of our favorite magazines has hit the stands.
11. You’ve started to compile a list of summer reads since you don’t have time to sleep, let alone READ, during the semester.
12. After you’ve finished reading this, and you grasp that you finally have a moment to yourself, you realize that you couldn’t be more pleased to know how fab life will be for the next four months.
