I have always been obsessed with all things skincare, hair and makeup. My friends are always asking me for product recommendations, so I thought I would share my all-time favorite products that I recommend to anyone from beginners to very experienced artists. For anyone who is currently looking to buy makeup, Sephora is having a website-wide sale and Ulta is always having sales or rewards, so keep a lookout for those!
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre: Daily Face and Body Cream ($28 at Embryolisse)
I could not recommend this moisturizer more. It is completely underrated and definitely deserves more hype.
Elf Cosmetics: Poreless Putty Primer ($10 at Ulta)
I use this Poreless Putty Primer any time I do my makeup. It does its job and makes my skin feel silky smooth and ready for my makeup application. I would recommend all of their putty products, because not only do they look fantastic on the skin, but they are also so fun to use and so unique.
Elf Cosmetics: Monochromatic Multi Stick ($5 at Ulta)
This Monochromatic Multi-Stick is an absolute dream! I use it as a cream blush and use the shade Glimmering Guava. Not only does it give you a gorgeous flush, but you could make a decent amount of makeup looks with them. This product is super pigmented and blends like a dream.
Maybelline New York: Define-A-Line Eyeliner ($4.69 at Target)
I am a loyal fan of this eyeliner. I began using this product in the seventh grade, and I continue repurchasing it to this day. It is very concentrated and is my go-to when I want to put makeup on but don’t want to spend a lot of time doing it. I will just swipe on some eyeliner and mascara and call it a day.
Maybelline New York: Lash Sensation Sky High Mascara ($9.99 at Target)
This mascara is a new purchase for me but has been added to my everyday favorites. I have spent so much time and money on mascara because my eyelashes are absolutely terrible. I can curl them, and for the first five minutes they look fantastic, but then they start drooping and it looks like I never curled my lashes.
L’Oreal: Voluminous Original Mascara ($9.99 at Ulta)
This product is perfection. I use this as my first coat of mascara and then go in with the Sky High Mascara. This is my go-to method because, in my experience, my lashes stay curled for hours and there is no fallout for the whole day.
Charlotte Tilbury: Matte Revolution Lipstick Pillow Talk ($34 at Charlotte Tilbury)
This is a cult favorite for a reason. I have yet to meet a person that the Pillow Talk lipstick does not look good on. Charlotte Tilbury has made a name for itself with all of the Pillow Talk shades, and I recommend all of them.
Dermablend: Quick-Fix Concealer Stick ($26 at Ulta)
I happen to have very dark under-eyes because my skin is so thin, and there is a LOT of blood accumulating under my eyes. I went to Ulta a couple of months ago and one of their team members introduced me to this product; long story short, I have been hooked. This product is meant to cover tattoos, so as you can tell, the coverage is fantastic. I apply this product after applying a moisturizer and an eye cream and use either a flat brush or my finger and dab it on.
L.A. Girl: HD Pro Concealer ($4.99 at Ulta)
I use this product in a darker shade as my contour shade. In my experience, it blends quite easily and gives me a good bronze. As someone with very fair skin, a little goes a long way, and this product is perfect for contouring my cheekbones but especially my nose.
Eva Nyc: Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer ($11.99 at Ulta)
Lately, I have been applying heat to my hair much more often with many events like date functions and formals for my sorority. As someone who has spent hundreds of dollars on hair products, I cannot recommend this product more. I use it as not only a heat primer, but I use it every day to smooth my hair and add some shine.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez: Sot Pinch Liquid Blush ($20 at Sephora)
I do not yet have this product, but it has been in my cart since it came out. The reason I added this to the list is because of how many people have told me that this product is amazing, and oh so beautiful. They also have so many different shades for you to choose from and that will work on any type or shade of skin.
Glow Recipe: Strawberry Smooth BHA + AHA Salicylic Acid Serum ($40 at Sephora)
I recently got this product and I really like it so far. I have been on the lookout for a toner with salicylic acid, so when I heard that Glow Recipe released a product, I was very excited to try it. All of their products are so amazing, and they just released a collab with everyone’s favorite makeup artist, Mikayla.
Laneige: Lip Sleeping Mask ($22 at Sephora)
My mom bought this product over a year ago, and I am ashamed to admit that I probably use it more than her. It makes your lips so soft and smooth, and it smells FANTASTIC.
Charlotte Tilbury: Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44 at Sephora)
I bought this product in the mini size that is sold for $15 at Sephora over six months ago, and I still have not finished it. This product gives your skin such a beautiful and natural glow that, while there are many dupes, they just cannot compare.
