Meet Campus Cutie Logan Godby

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

Name: Logan Godby

Hometown: Milton, GA

Year: Sophomore

Major: Civil Engineering

Relationship Status: Single

Her Campus (HC): So what activities do you participate in to get involved at Florida State?

Logan Godby (LG): I am an Orientation Leader, I was in the Flying High Circus, I was a part of the TEDxFSU Conference last year, and I’m also a founding member of Beta Theta Pi.

HC: So being an orientation leader, what has become your favorite part about FSU?

LG: I can go anywhere on campus and know somebody, which is really cool. If I ever need help with something, I certainly know where to go to ask for help. I know a very large portion of the student body. I feel very connected to Florida State in that way. I feel like I am more of a part of the university than I thought I would ever be. I fell in love with Florida State all over again.

HC: As you’re pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, what would you consider to be your dream job?

LG: I don’t really have a set plan right now. I would love to be an Imagineer for Disney, I mean it’s not really something I am pursing, but I think it would be really fun.

HC: Why not pursue it?

LG: Well right now I am just focused on getting my engineering degree so I can go out and start doing things to help people. I am thinking about doing the Engineers Without Borders, where you go to different countries to work on assisted abilities and practices in terms of construction, water resources, and agricultural development.

HC: So what do you look for in a girl?

LG: They have to live beautifully. They have to really be in touch with people and their environment around them. Someone who is creative and good at things that I’m not, like reading and writing. I look for a girl who is worldly and experienced, someone who is driven to go out and explore the world, someone who enjoys going to other countries and being outdoors. Intelligence is also very important to me. Intelligence is key.

HC: One last, fun question: if you could have a superpower, what would it be?

LG: This may sound really silly—people usually ask for laser vision or super strength or the ability to fly—but I would just really love to be flexible.
