Tired of leaving campus to get a pizza and having to pay delivery fees and tips to have one delivered? Save money and grab a quick bite with ease by visiting the newest addition to the Oglesby Union food court– Seminole Pies! This yummy pizza spot celebrated its grand opening in late September and is now open for business from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until midnight on the weekends. Find out more information on prices, hours and delivery options on their website here!

2. New Canopy Road Café Location

While this treasure remains largely unknown to many FSU students, Canopy Road Café’s new additional location on Apalachee Parkway makes this breakfast, brunch and lunch hotspot much more accessible. Carb-loading on pancakes the size of your face and crispy home fries has never been easier. Try out the new “Panwaffle” inspired by The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon for a heavy post-party breakfast this weekend, or have a light granola parfait with a fruit platter before class during the week.  You can check out more info on Canopy Road’s yummy breakfast platters and restaurant updates here.

3. Lofty Pursuits Ice Cream Shop’s Relocation

“Sundae” Oct. 2 marked the last day to get your ice cream treats at the original Lofty Pursuits location that has been loved by locals for over 20 years. However, this does not mean an end to the on-tap root beer, freshly stretched hard candy and enormous amounts of ice cream flavors and combos. The ice cream/toy shop combo is moving down the road to expand and update their real estate. This new location will provide an even more welcoming environment where customers can sit down, enjoy an ice cream sundae and play some board games with friends. Keep yourself updated on the renovations and ice cream innovations on their Facebook page here.

4. Olive Garden’s Never-Ending Pasta Bowl Begins

Courtesy: Olive Garden

Starting Monday, Oct. 3, you can fill yourself up with as much unlimited Olive Garden pasta as your heart desires. That’s right, the never-ending pasta bowl is back, so treat yourself to a hearty plate of your favorite pasta coupled with a yummy protein like grilled chicken or meatballs. Of course, we can’t forget the “light garnish” aka a mound of grated Parmesan cheese the size of Mount Everest to top it all off. Additionally, you have a choice of unlimited servings of soup or Olive Garden’s classic Italian house salad. After you’ve stuffed yourself silly with pasta dishes all month, you’ll know your Parpadelle from your Cavatappi like an authentic Italian. You can track exactly how much time is left until this extraordinary event begins and find more info about the event and pricing here.
