The Collegiate Merchandising Association (CMA) is a student run organization in the College of Human Sciences.  The organization’s Student Liaisons, Robin Holmes and Amanda Rosson, plan a multitude of socials for its members.  Last week, the social was a shopping trip at Kanvas Beauty on Thomasville Road.  Not only did members receive 10% off their purchases, but their friends, roomies, sorority sisters, and other guests did, too.  Guests were offered veggies, cheeses, and other assorted snacks and drinks while they browsed the store for new beauty goodies.

Kanvas owner, Lisa, and associates assisted the guests in learning more about their unique skin compositions.  Assisting guests in choosing anything from exfoliators and moisturizers to lip colors and foundations, new clients left with luxury skin goods well worth the trip.  The guests not only found out which shades of lip colors complimented their skin tones, but had options of lipstick, solid gloss, and lip gloss.  With product lines ranging from T. LeClerc to Essie, the guests in attendance of this special CMA social definitely reaped the benefits of the great deals offered.
