When moving to college there are so many difficult goodbyes. The hardest goodbye of all is to the lady you trust with your eyebrows. After years of shaping and plucking and waxing and threading, you’ve finally gotten your eyebrows perfect. Who do you trust now with your precious brows that have finally become “on fleek”? Fortunately for all of us, Tallahassee has a couple brow experts that are worthy of maintaining your brows. I have personally been to these businesses and recommended them to my pickiest friends. You’re in good hands.
Bare Waxing and Skin Care
A personal favorite, Bare Waxing has two locations in Tallahassee (one is in CollegeTown)! Bare provides a clean and comfortable waxing experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They even have a 3 level Student Wax Pass! It’s a really great deal if you’re religious about getting your waxes. You can make an appointment on their website. Once you become a regular, you can also pick your favorite expert to make an appointment with.
Brow Art 23
Located in Governor’s Square Mall, Brow Art Studio makes it very convenient to get a fleeky brow. Brow Art is known for their threading. Threading is a popular alternative to waxing because it is gentle on the skin and typically lasts much longer. Ladies who have thicker brows or are picky about shape should consider threading over waxing. No appointment is necessary, so try it out the next time you go shopping! Quick and affordable, you’ll be happy with the end result.
Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta
Benefit is a beauty brand that sells products for creating and maintaining the perfect brow. Benefit partnered with Ulta Beauty to bring beautiful brows to the nation. The Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta has “Arch Experts” that will wax, shape and fill your eyebrows. This is a good option if you want to learn more about making your eyebrows work for your face. Filling in your eyebrows can be a difficult skill to master in order to achieve a natural look.
My hope is that one day, my eyebrows will be as beautiful and perfect as the Kardashian/Jenner clan. Unfortunately, until I can afford Anastasia from Anastasia Beverly Hills to personally come to my home and do them for me, I’ll have to be content with my Tallahassee experts.
