With fall in full blast and Homecoming around the corner, an abundance of performances in Tallahassee await. From lesser known artists to big names in the entertainment industry, multiple shows are taking place over the next couple of weeks.

As part of FSU’s Homecoming, Rae Sremmurd is headlining the Warchant concert on Wednesday, October 17th. Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi make up the famous hip-hop duo. Their first album, “SremmLife” consisted of chart-topping hits like: “No Flex Zone,” “No Type” and “Come Get Her.” Their single, “Black Beatles” became the theme song for the mannequin challenge, a viral trend where groups of people froze in place in different locations. They have now released three albums and toured with big-name artists like The Weeknd. The Tallahassee show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are discounted for FSU students.

After the home football game versus Wake Forest on October 20th, FSU’s annual “Doak After Dark” concert will feature Big Boi and T-Pain. Big Boi joined rapper, Andre 3000, and formed the duo known as “OutKast.” They released the singles, “Hey Ya!” and “Ms. Jackson” in the year 2000 that still serve as popular party songs today. T-Pain also thrived in the early 2000s, with his top single “Buy U a Drank,” which also still remains a party song. Big Boi and T-Pain are bringing the party vibes to Doak Campbell Stadium immediately after the game. Admission is free with a ticket to the game.
