Here’s How to Add Pumpkin to your Skincare Routine this Fall

Fall season also means it’s officially PUMPKIN SEASON! Pumpkins inspire enriching flavors for coffee, smoothies, muffins, bread, and any other recipe you can imagine! One place it should be is in your beauty routine. Try one of these pumpkin beauty recipes and get into the fall spirit.

1. Lip Balm and Scrub

This all-natural coconut oil-based Pumpkin Pie Lip Balm and Scrub is super effective and simple. The smell is so indulgent, you’ll want to eat it! Good thing it’s edible! You will need:

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

2. Hair Mask

To restore your hair’s natural shine and elasticity, use this DIY deep conditioning that will make your hair get some life back. You will need:

  • 2 oz raw pumpkin
  • 2 oz raw shea butter
  • 2 oz raw, liquified coconut oil  
  • 1 oz fixed vegetable oil (like sunflower or olive oil) 
  • 1 teaspoon oatmeal powder

  • 1/2 green apple
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
