Last Wednesday, nothing was more thrilling while walking down Legacy Walk between classes than seeing that Her Campus Nationals came to FSU to promote Her Campus FSU while also having activations, giveaways and freebies! Weren’t able to make all the fun action? Don’t worry, we’ve got a recap for you! Here’s what you missed:
The event took place at the Union Green, on Wednesday, from 11-3. Despite the hot sun, many students came out to get see what was happening and of course, get the freebies!
After checking in at the first booth, Her Campus gave each individual a goodie bag to collect items from the other booth. Each booth had its own sponsor, and each sponsor provided freebies, giveaways and or activations. The booths that were there included Student City, Juicy, Essence, Loreal and Aeropostale.
Let’s talk goodies.
At Student City’s Booth, people had the opportunity to enter to win a free vacation through Her Campus. And, even if they didn’t win, they still got a $25 gift coupon for a future tripped booked through Student City! Summer Break, WYA?
The Essence Cosmetics booth was your makeup station central. The lines to enter were long but 10/10 worth it. Equipped with tables decorated with mascaras, glosses, lipsticks, foundation, eye shadow, nail polish and others, this table was every girl’s dream. In order to win one of the makeup items, participants first had to guess how many sparkles were in the jar, and play the Plinko game. Games=Goodies?? Yes please!
At the Aeropostale booth, brand ambassadors were handing out free black camis (yes, I’ll take 80) and coupons. As a bonus, if someone wanted to win one of the adorable jean jackets on one of the tables, they had to post a picture in front of the life size Instagram frame with the hashtag #liveaero.
The Juicy Couture booth slayed on aesthetics. Their Swarovski crystal palm tree was all you needed for a good photo to fit your Insta feed. You could also learn about the new and improved JC tracksuit! By playing one of the games or participating in one of the social media related activities, you had a chance to win different goodies.
Lastly, the L’Oreal booth was your stop for all your sun tan needs! If you spun the Prize wheel, you had a chance to win different L’Oreal prizes and goodies. You could also chill out on the pool floats. HIPSTER AF.
Overall, the HCFSU tour was a HUGE success. We had a great turnout and loved sharing all of the great brands that sponsor Her Campus, with OUR campus. The Her Campus Tour may or may not be back again next year but until then, you can check out the different goodies the brands provided below!
