Who could forget their classic hip-hop jams like “Get Low,” “Salt Shaker” and “Ms. New Booty?” The Ying Yang Twins are back in action in Tallahassee, and they’re ready to give a wild show.  From their first breakout single, “Whistle While You Twurk,” in 2000, the Ying Yang Twins have been bringing R&B party jams that have become staple club songs for us 90’s babies. If you’re looking for an entertaining time singing along to your favorite throwback tunes, this hip hop duo is one you have to make sure to see.

The Main Squeeze

Wednesday, October 7th at Pug Mahone’s Live

Who doesn’t love a soulful vibe and a groovy beat? The Main Squeeze is like nothing you’ve ever heard before, blending rock ‘n’ roll, smooth jazz and classic funk all in to one hypnotic sound (think Rush meets Stevie Wonder with a futuristic vibe). From high-energy hits to low and smooth ballads, The Main Squeeze will be sure to impress you with their musical range. The five members from the Chicago-based band have played at festivals like Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and Gathering of the Vibes. Make sure to grab your ticket for this spectacular show soon!

Walk The Moon

October 12th at The Moon

You’ve probably heard their infectious single, “Shut Up and Dance,” which has been topping the charts all summer. Walk the Moon is heading to Tallahassee with their fun blend of pop and rock and roll, and is sure to be a concert you will not want to miss. The indie rock band has performed on Letterman, Conan, Fallon, as well as major music festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. What makes their concerts so  incredible, however, is their interactive set, in which the band holds a “mass exorcism.” Rather than saving the audience from being possessed by actual demons, the band invites them to raise their hands to the sky and release all their demons of insecurity and self-doubt, encouraging them to be free and enjoy the moment. It’s a concert spectacle you’ll talk about for years.

Noah Gunderson

Think Ed Sheeran and Hozier hold the number one spots for soulful, story telling music? Well, think again. Noah Gunderson pushes the boundaries of acoustic music with mesmerizing melodies and tones. This indie folk singer from Seattle creates music and lyrics that will both sooth and wound the soul with his powerful words. You won’t want to miss this extraordinary artist when he comes to Tallahassee in October.

Keys N Krates

October 20th at Encore

Although Keys N Krates is hesitant to call themselves a “trap band,” they create entrancing deep house and electronic music that will have you dancing the whole night long. Working with electronic producers and artists like Flosstradamus, Diplo and Major Lazer, this Toronto based trio is no amateur to the live DJ music scene. If you’re into heavy bass and a good beat, the Keys N Krates concert is a must-see event.
