The dreaded week of finals is here, which means endless study sessions, overdosing on caffeine and plenty of sleepless nights. All the work and studying you’ve been putting off throughout the semester has finally caught up with you and you have no choice but to learn all the material in one night. This week is the only thing that is standing in the way of your freedom. Read on to see how Michael Scott of “The Office” expresses how we all feel right now!

1. It’s the last week of the semester and all of your motivation is gone.

Just getting out of bed is a struggle.

2. You’ve put off all your studying and assignments until now, when it’s too late.

And you’re now regretting all those months of procrastinating and skipping lectures.

3. So you move into Strozier Library for a couple of days because you have no other choice.

This is when you finally get serious about your studying and decide to be productive.

4. Then you see your friends are all going out and you’re stuck at the library.

Nothing is worse than looking through Snapchat and seeing all your friends pregaming without you, especially when you have a serious case of FOMO.

5. You didn’t pay attention in class and all you have are the PowerPoints to study.

They’re your only hope since there’s no way you’re getting through all the reading assignments.

6. After trying to memorize four chapters in one night, you still don’t understand anything.

The panic really starts to kick in once you’ve read all of the slides and realize you only absorbed 5% of the information.

7. Then it’s 4 a.m. and you’re still at the library.

You’re so tired and it’s totally acceptable to have a breakdown at this point.

8. You end up having to quarantine yourself in the library for the next few days.

It’s not like the weather is beautiful outside or anything.

9. You try to convince yourself that everything will work out and that you’ll get a good grade.

Lots of prayers are made.

10. Then it’s time to go to class and take that final.

The time has finally come and you’re not even sure how to feel about it. All you can think about is just getting it over with.

11. You go to class sleep-deprived from all the studying the night before and you don’t know who you are anymore.

Excessive caffeine consumption and complete exhaustion are a deadly combination. Your heart is racing rapidly and nothing makes sense.

12. You get the test handed to you and there’s no going back.

This is it! All you can do is stay strong, do your best and hope all the questions are from the PowerPoints you just memorized.

13. The test has a short answer response and you’re trying to just write anything that pops in your head.

If there’s something we’ve learned in college it’s how to BS our essays.

14. You turn in your final hoping for the best because that’s all you can do at this point.

You just calculated what grade you need in order to get a good final grade in the class and suddenly you have hope.

15. Then you realize you’re finally free from finals and it’s summer!

Time for endless Netflix binges, sleeping in and zero responsibilities!

Good luck with your finals, Collegiettes!
