Ah, the holidays. They are, without question, the best time of the year. We have pumpkin flavored everything, cooler weather, Christmas music and let’s not forget, the sitcom holiday specials. There is nothing better than celebrating Hallothanksmas with your friends, family and favorite TV characters. Grab your pumpkin spice latte, fuzzy socks, cozy blanket and gather round the television – I mean fire – to watch your favorite sitcom specials. Here is your guide to the best holiday episodes currently streaming on Netflix.

1. The Office: Here Comes Treble

Season 9, Episode 5

Let’s be honest, the first thing we think about when we hear the word Halloween is Dwight stuck in a pumpkin. Leave it to “The Office” to get you into the spirit of Halloween.

2. Parks and Recreation: Halloween Surprise

Season 5, Episode 5

This episode makes you feel all the feels! It reminds you that the best things in life happen unplanned. It’ll make you laugh and cry, all at the same time. Leslie and Ann were serious friendship goals, and Leslie accepts Ben’s proposal in the most Leslie Knope way possible.

3. Friends: The One with all the Thanksgivings

Season 5, Episode 8

Given that Chandler hates Thanksgiving, something eventful always happens in these holiday episodes. Whether it’s a flashback or Rachel’s Thanksgiving trifle, the one where Monica wears a turkey definitely takes the cake. Not only do we get to see Chandler’s ridiculous “Flock of Seagulls” 80s hair, but we also get to see him confess his love for Monica. This episode was the turning point for their relationship. Something tells me that Chandler started liking Thanksgivings after this one.

4. Gilmore Girls: A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving

Season 3, Episode 9

In this episode, we see our favorite girls do what they do best: eat. After agreeing to go to four different Thanksgiving dinners, Lorelai and Rory put on their stretchy pants and accept their fate, even when it comes down to trying “tofurkey.” Correspondingly, the girls end their busy and drama filled night at Luke’s diner.

5. New Girl: The 23rd

Season 1, Episode 9

Here, the gang attends Schmidt’s holiday office party and get to see him dressed as “sexy Santa.” Once the guys see that Jess is bummed out, Nick misses his flight once again and Jess becomes “the girl who really wants to see the lights.” The guys really make it a magical Christmas.

6. 30 Rock: LudaChristmas

Season 2, episode 9

In this classic, the Lemons come to visit. Like every family, there is no such thing as picture perfect. While there is a lot of fighting going on in this episode, towards the end you see what the true meaning of Christmas is all about.

7. That 70s Show: Finale

Season 8, Episode 22

I feel like this was the best, most clever way to end the show. This final episode wraps everything up, and kisses the 70s good bye as the gang gets ready to welcome the 80s. It’s the end of an era!

8. How I Met Your Mother: The Limo

Season 1, Episode 11

Let’s face it, we have all felt like Ted at some point. We all fear that New Year’s Eve let down. We wish we could rent out a limo and have a chauffeur like Ranjit drive us around the whole city. This episode is full of love and fun! There is no better way to ring in the New Year.

As the holidays are quickly approaching, pace yourself and make sure you do not miss your favorite sitcom specials. After all, it is the most wonderful time of the year.
