What Your Favorite ‘Eras Tour’ Outfit Says About You

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at FSU chapter.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has taken the world by storm. It’s impossible to go on social media without seeing pictures and videos of the extravagant concert. One of the most exciting parts about the show is Taylor’s outfits, and your favorite may reveal a lot more about you and your Swiftie identity than you think.

The Pink and blue lover bodysuit

This is the first outfit Taylor wore on the tour, and it’s easily the most well-known. Not only is the bodysuit absolutely beautiful, but also, it’ll be used to represent the Eras Tour for years to come.

If this sparkly, detailed bodysuit is your favorite outfit from the whole tour, you are a Lover of iconic fashion. You probably don’t get too deep into the wild side of being a Swiftie, like filling out Swiftball ballots before every show. While Taylor is your favorite artist, you don’t dedicate 99 percent of your Spotify playlist to her. You’re a much more casual fan. You appreciate the tour for what it is in the big picture rather than obsessing over specific shows and moments.

the bRONZE evermore dress

The bronze Evermore dress is a beautiful hidden gem that Swift has only worn a handful of times. Even though it hasn’t seen the stage nearly as much as the orange evermore dress, it is stunning and has cemented itself as a fan favorite.

If this outfit is your favorite, you are a hardcore Swiftie who stays up late every night to watch grainy livestreams of the tour. You truly believe that it’s the little things in life that bring the most happiness, and this dress is one of them. If you could, you would spend any amount of money to go see the show multiple times. You just love the vibes and want to scream “tolerate it” in a stadium with 70K other fans.

the speak now cupcake wrapper dress

If the cupcake wrapper dress from the Speak Now set is your favorite, you are definitely an OG Swiftie who is praying for her country accent to come back in Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version)

Your favorite song is “Long Live” and you’re upset that she didn’t play it in Tampa. No matter how many new albums she releases, you’ll always hang back and listen to her country era, cry when you realize that not everyone knows all the words to “A Perfectly Good Heart,” and put on your cowboy hat and boots for the show.

the reputation snake jumpsuit

The Reputation set is the only one that has one outfit — all the others have at least three. If the snake jumpsuit is your favorite outfit, you are a loyal Swiftie who has maintained the same favorite album and song since you started listening to her music.

When the Reputation era began and she cleared her Instagram account, your world stopped turning and your heart dropped. “…Ready For It?” is your go-to hype song and you think “Getaway Car” has some of her best lyricism ever. Because you love this outfit so much, you probably tried to recreate it to wear to the concert — again, you’re loyal, and wearing anything else would’ve felt like cheating.

the midnights cutout abs bodysuit

If the cutout abs bodysuit is your favorite, you are a holder of unpopular opinions. This outfit made most fans give Swift a side-eye glare, but you blocked out the noise and decided that you love it anyway. You’re probably a new Swiftie who really got into her music once the “Taylor’s Version” era began, and there’s no shame in that. Your favorite song is “Karma,” even though it makes you cry when she plays it at the concert since that signifies the end. You love being a Swiftie because it’s fun and exciting — nothing more, nothing less.

Swift has so many iconic outfits. I honestly hope the second leg of the Eras Tour brings more fabulous fits!
