Pitbull is back on tour and better than ever. The I’m Back tour, with guest Lil Jon, began on May 14 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and the hype has been real on social media. Concertgoers have gone all out with bald caps and sunglasses, fully committing to his iconic look.

A devoted fanbase

I was at his show in Tampa with my older sister, and the atmosphere was electric! We had the time of our lives kicking off the summer in matching Pitbull outfits and dancing along to hits like “Hotel Room Service,” “International Love,” “Give Me Everything,” and, of course, “Fireball.”

When Pitbull told me live that “this is for everybody going through tough times, believe me, been there, done that, but every day above ground is a great day,” I genuinely could’ve run through a brick wall. From fellow girls helping us get the perfect Instagram-worthy photos to Bald-E’s in bedazzled bald caps, we can confirm the night was truly for the girls.

Lil Jon and Pitbull recently collaborated on the single “Damn I Love Miami,” and seeing them perform together live had us saying “Yeah!” This latest song is especially fun because it inspired viral moments such as line dance choreography!

Of course, Pitbull is no stranger to collaborations with artists of all genres. In his Aug. 25 show in New York, Pitbull even took a moment to honor the life and legacy of Dolly Parton. He had a special connection, as they created the song “Powerful Women” together in 2024, which sampled her hit “9 to 5.”

His Impact: More Than Just a Tour

Don’t talk about it, be about it 💯

♬ original sound – Pitbull

Pitbull, born Armando Christian Pérez, is a first-generation Cuban American from Miami, FL. His music reflects his pride in his heritage and his pride in bringing people together from different cultures. He chose the name “Pitbull” because he felt like an outsider breaking into the music industry and had to fight for his place on the international stage as a Latino artist.

Since the early 2000s, Pitbull has been making music and making an impact. In Tampa, he paused the show to talk about the importance of education and recognized a teacher who believed in him and changed his life. Now, his goal is to do the same for others.

He founded the SELF 1st Foundation in 2015, using his international stardom to empower the next generation. Through his nonprofit, Pitbull supports a network of public charter schools focused on Sports, Leadership, Arts, and Management (SLAM).

His first school was opened in Miami’s Little Havana, giving back to the area where he grew up and got his nickname, Mr. 305, a reference to the Miami area code. There are now 14 SLAM campuses across four states, working to give underserved communities more opportunities. At a Pitbull concert, you can party hard knowing your good time could also be supporting a good cause.

As a student learning Spanish, I know I love listening to Pitbull and calling it my language practice for the day. He even taught the crowd a few phrases of Spanish at his concert. Whether it’s his fans in matching bald caps or his captivating performance, Pitbull’s ability to help people connect is what made his show so special.

What’s Next?

Even though the North American leg of the I’m Back tour ended on Sept. 26, Mr. Worldwide isn’t slowing down. He’s part of the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Week lineup in October, and then he’s headed to Europe to share more of that international love.

His 14th studio album, Pitcoin, is set to be released on Oct. 9. While no new currency will be released with the new album, Pitbull’s I’m Back tour energized the summer and continues to dominate everyone’s playlist. ¡Dale!
