Her Campus (HC): First off, how do you guys know each other?
Brandy Shea (BS): We live 10 feet apart from one another.
Clarissa Leyda (CL): I basically live in her bed, but we are actually suitemates.
HC: What were your first impressions of each other?
CS: We were random suitemates and Brandy added me on Facebook, but I couldn’t remember who she was so I un-friended her.
BS: I thought she was a cute Asian and I was excited to get to know her.
CL: *Blank stares.*
HC: What’s your favorite thing about each other?
BS: Clarissa has so much energy when she is awake, which takes her a good 45 minutes. It’s unstoppable.
CL: Probably her open-mindedness. She never judges.
HC: What advice do you give to incoming freshmen that will have to live in dorms?
CL: Just to get excited to meet new people because you never know what kind of connections you’re able to make!
BS: Definitely to be positive because your roommates may turn into your best friends.
HC: What do you guys like to do most with one another?
CL: We like to cuddle, sing really loudly, dance in the mirror and run up and down the hallways of Jennie Murphree.
BS: Don’t forget that we eat almost every meal together and love to quote our favorite vines. Shoutout to Gabriel Conte.
HC: Who is your celebrity crush?
CL: Mi amor, Enrique Iglesias!
BS: Quick story, one time I heard Clarissa crying in her room so I went to see if she was okay. I walk in and she was watching a live stream concert of Enrique Iglesias, bawling her eyes out. My celeb crush is definitely Seth Rogen.
HC: Do you guys plan on living with each other in the future?
BS: Yeah, I actually plan on spending the rest of my life with her.
