A lot of popular college preparation books are geared toward parents, informing them about the next steps they need to take to educate their high school graduate about college life. These books are often straightforward and detail only the boring topics. Many high school seniors have had it with reading books by the time their senior summer rolls around, but being informed about their next four years with insider tips can make the transition into college a lot easier.  

Nowadays, it’s hard to come by attractive and informative books with tips tailored for millennial women entering universities. Most books often avoid examining mental illness, sexual assault and nutrition. These topics are a vital part of what women need to hear about because the reality is that they could affect her life in college.
