There are so many remarkably beautiful parks to visit in Tallahassee. If you are considering spending time outside during the next few weeks of April, make sure to grab your allergy meds and some comfy sneakers for your next adventure in one of these local destinations.

1. Cascades Park: Close to campus, this newly renovated park used to be a power plant but it now hosts waterfalls, playgrounds and trendy restaurants for locals to enjoy the outdoors.

2. Alfred B. Maclay Gardens: This beautiful park is known for its vast green lawns that are perfect for wedding ceremonies. The waterfront views are simply breath taking!

3. Lake Talquin: Launch your kayak here and find yourself in the midst of the best place to freshwater fish.

4. Lafayette Heritage Trail Park: Biking, hiking, walking or running are all the things you can do here. There are tons of trails to follow. More specifically, the Cadillac Mountain Bike Trail is a dynamic trail for intermediate bikers.

5. Tom Brown Park: This Tallahassee favorite has a huge dog park, disc golf, awesome hammock spots, soccer fields and tennis courts for you choose from.
