Wait this is weird…are you sure I’m not going to get arrested?
1. Ordering that first legal drink with your actual I.D.
2. Actually being able to go into the liquor store
3. Feelings of nervousness as the bouncer check your I.D. as if it’s not yours
4. Getting denied even though it is your actual I.D.
5. Your check at restaurants increasing substantially…
6. Leaving a bar tab open at a bar
7. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
8. Trying to find your “go-to” drink
9. Not making it out on your 21st birthday
10. Not even looking (or sounding) 21 AT ALL
11. Being 21 and it not being all that it has hyped up to be
12. Having to ALWAYS bring your I.D. EVERYWHERE
13. Or worse, losing your I.D.
14. Being old
15. Having to get drinks for your under 21 friends
16. Getting kicked out of a bar for being too intoxicated
17. Becoming the person your 18 year old brother (and all his friends) goes to for alcohol now
18. Only 1 or 2 (hell yeah 5 year plan!) years left of college
19. Real world responsibilities just waiting around the corner
20. Like getting a job or should I say career
21. And paying bills….
So, for now just enjoy being the forever awaited 21 years old! (The classy and responsible version.)
