Driving to the mall in hopes of leaving with a brand new bikini top in under an hour is laughable considering the limited styles and sizes that are offered in stores. Instead, you can expect an all-day fiasco, typically ending with you empty-handed, emotionally drained and pissed off because somehow the fashion industry always seems to forget that some people are “more blessed” than others.
2. Not Being Able to Wear Any Push-Up Style Tops
Squeezing the cup of a bikini top to see if it’s padded or not is literally the kiss of death for any busty girl. Even the slightest trace of foam means that some major spillage is going to be happening if you put the top on, no matter how cute the pattern is. A moment of silence to all the amazing padded bikini tops that had to be passed up. R.I.P.

4. Dealing With the Astronomical Price of One Bikini Top
Because bikini shopping isn’t as easy as popping into Target and raiding the racks for a cute style, we big busted girls are forced to shop at higher-end stores to find supportive yet fashionable tops. When you do find a top that fits like a glove and flatters your curves in all the right ways, it’s VERY tempting to break the bank and buy every pattern it comes in just so you can have a few options during Spring Break week. And, let’s be real, this is an investment piece. Chances are you’ll be wearing this top for the rest of your college career, so you might as well treat yourself and get it in a few extra patterns, right?
6. Tanning Is The Ultimate Struggle
Just imagine lying on your stomach with two grapefruits attached to your chest – not a very comfortable position. Now imagine laying on your back with two grapefruits attached to your chest – depending on where the sun is hitting you, you’re probably not going to get an even tan. A true travesty.
7. Your Bikini Top Breaking on the Beach Is Not an Option
A broken strap on the beach to most girls means heading to the closest Surf Style, grabbing a bikini top off the nearest rack and heading back to the shore to enjoy the rest of their day. To busty girls, a broken strap on the beach means getting in the car, driving home and never wearing another bikini ever again because it would probably take you about one week, your mother’s credit card and a gallon of tears to find yet another top. Sometimes you have to know when to take the L.

8. Always Having to Bow out of Activities on the Beach
Every busty girl knows the dread that is felt when someone decides to break out the old soccer ball or volleyball or any ball that requires movement greater than a steady walk. Unless you have a sports bra packed away in your beach tote, you’ll most likely designate yourself team mascot and proceed to watch the game from your cozy, stationary towel.
9. Not Knowing How to Pose for Pictures Appropriately
There tends to be a very specific angle at which pictures can be taken that is both flattering and minimizing towards the upper-half of the body. This is the holy grail of angles. Any picture taken outside of this angle will never see the light of day. Fact.

Because bikinis tend to give busty girls just the slightest bit of stress, having a cute cover-up on hand at all times is a necessity. Being able to throw on a flowy dress and instantly make all your problems disappear might be the best feeling in the world.
