Halloween is right around the corner! This past Friday the 13th may have made you feeling a little spooky so you better get ready for Halloween Horror Nights since Universal Studios is already in full swing. Halloween Horror Nights kicked off this month on Sept. 6 and will last until Nov. 2. The amusement park revealed ten brand new haunted houses guaranteed to scare the living daylights out of you! Yay!
Here they are:
1. Stranger Things
If you’re a fan of Stranger Things on Netflix you’ll absolutely love this house. Enter into the strange world of Eleven and the rest of the cast while you walk or run through fan-favorite scenes and settings. Get off the couch and go get terrified.
2. Us
Jordan Peele, the acclaimed director who brought us Get Out, is showcasing his newest thriller, Us, in a mind-bending haunted house where the biggest threat is ourselves.
3. Monsters
Universal brings out a classic this year with the Monsters haunted house. Iconic villains and evil creatures such as Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy and more are packed in one house to give you the most frightening run for your life.
4. Ghostbusters
Another classic, yet fun installment in this year’s lineup is Ghostbusters. In this haunted house try to escape these slimy spirits while you are terrorized through the streets of New York.
5. Killer Klowns
Here we have one of the most anticipated and scary houses this year. Killer Klowns from Outer Space. A pop-culture favorite and a viral phenomenon, these Klowns will be sure to knock your socks off. That is if they don’t kill you first.
6. House of 1000 Corpses
Another cult-classic comes out in the new house gruesomely named House of 1000 Corpses. You are sure to be surrounded by death, blood and gore if you venture into this attraction. What you don’t know is if you’ll come out alive (jk).
7. Depths of Fear
Hold your breath for this panic-inducing house, the Depths of Fear, as you join deep-water miners as catastrophe ensues. In this claustrophobic house, you’ll watch miners face their death in the depths while a parasitic deep-ocean creature wreaks havoc on them and you.
8. Graveyard Games
Nothing says Halloween more than a graveyard infested with ghosts. In this house, Graveyard Games, you’ll follow the story of teen rascals messing with tireless spirits as you make your way through the haunted graveyard of the dead.
9. Nightingales
Enter into Ancient Rome in Nightingales: Blood Pit. In this haunted house, gladiators have been fighting to the death, bloodshed is everywhere, and daunting creatures called Nightingales will tear you apart.
10. Yeti
The final house is Yeti: Terror of the Yukon. Enter into the cold tundra of the Yeti. He is lurking in the shadows and he will have you shivering in fear.
This year at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is sure to be a huge hit. Go get your scare on!
