As I mentioned in the Birmingham, AL article, my boyfriend and I took a road trip this past spring break! On our way back north, we stopped for a couple of nights in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a super cool city and here are some stops to check out if you are every headed that way!
1. Music is everywhere! There are a ton of record shops, one we checked out was Great Escape Records. I found some awesome finds here for really good prices! They also have additional items, such as comic books, t-shirts, posters and magic cards!2. There are a ton or great restaurants and bars on Broadway St, which is in the middle of downtown! And it’s where the music is at! Practically every restaurant and bar on this street had a different live band playing!3. The Parthenon is a replica from the one in Greece. There is a museum underneath it that you can visit, but just seeing the structure is pretty cool!4. Visit Vanderbilt University! We walked around and explored it a little bit, they have a beautiful campus!5. BB Kings on Broadway St and is an awesome barbecue and blues place! They had great food and the band that was playing while we were there sounded awesome, they were all very talented!
6. There are a ton of awesome bars with great music on Broadway, but one to check out if you are 21 and older is the Rooftop bar! You can go up on the room and enjoy your drink with a view of the city!
There is plenty to do in Nashville! There is much more to explore, we unfortunately didn’t have enough time to see everything, but we will visit again soon! If you ever head down for a visit, totally check out these spots!
