We here at Her Campus Framingham understand that makeup can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, to say the least. So we’ve come together with some tip that might make your life a little easier.

Use paper towels in place of sponges.

Wash your brushes.

If your liquid eyeliner dries out, use take brush and dip it in the mascara and use it in place.

Always buy waterproof mascara.

Look for non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging) foundation and other products to let your acne breathe.

For pale people, be very careful with your concealer and foundation and test it out on your skin first. Match it to your face not your hand.

If it’s too dark, get gothic makeup and mix it with your foundation to lighten it up.

Use setting spray.

If you can, take off body jewelry before putting makeup on.

Use coconut oil to break down your eye makeup.

Add eye drops to mascara if it dries out.

Be aware of chapped lips and plan your lip wear accordingly.

Primer is your best friend. Use it for your eyeshadow and foundation to make it last all day.

Do your research about the make-up company you buy from.

Always have fun with your make-up.
