I felt the Bern and I got burned. Even before Bernie Sanders lost the election, I’ve been told I have to vote for Clinton. Or I have to vote for a Third Party candidate. Or I have to write in Bernie’s name. So let me be very clear about this:

DO NOT TELL ME WHO TO VOTE FOR.

I will vote for whoever the hell I want to. I feel like a lot of people are interested in telling the Sanders supporters who to vote for. I’m not just going to blindly follow whatever someone tells me, be it a fellow Bernie supporter, my mother, God, or Bernie Sanders himself. I like to think I’m smarter than that and I wish that people would respect that millennials are capable of thinking for themselves and looking at the issues and come to their own conclusion.

The beautiful thing about America is that it’s a free country. We can vote for whoever we want. Personally, I would love to get rid of the two party system and have more options. In a different year, I’d probably vote for a third party so we can move towards that. There’s a slight problem with that idea.

Yep, I’m one of those people whose scared of Trump. My main goal in voting right now is to prevent this walking piece of garbage from becoming president. So I’m voting Clinton. I’m not terribly thrilled about it, to be perfectly honest. But I do believe there are worse people out there. For example:

I can live with a qualified candidate. So Clinton it is. Personally, I don’t think that voting for a third party candidate is the best idea right now. But if you think that voting for Stein or Johnson or someone else is the way, then go for it. Your vote is your own vote. But please don’t vote for Trump.
