So, you took enough classes during the summer that you are able to graduate a semester early. What is your biggest fear for once the fall semester ends?
“My biggest fear once the semester ends is starting all over again. I’ve grown to love the community at FSU and I’m afraid that I won’t be able to find anything like it at any other university.”
You are constantly running all over campus between classes, Psi Chi, and multiple jobs. How do you have time for everything? How exactly do you stay sane?
“Sometimes I don’t know myself! Time management is key for balancing everything I have to do on campus. I make sure I have enough time to do everything I need to do in the day. Some days are more difficult than others, but I try to keep my schedule organized and manageable- often hour by hour. In terms of keeping sane, I make sure I have at least an hour at the end of the day to spend on myself- no homework, no commitments, just me. Surprisingly, having a tight schedule in itself keeps me sane as well. I hate not having a set schedule each day.”
One of your favorite shows is American Horror Story. Which previous season do you wish you could have been a cast member on and why? And if you had to bring some aspect of the wicked, weird, or supernatural to reality, what would it be?
“I love the first season of American Horror Story so I would have loved to be cast on that season. However, I think it would have also been fun to be on the cast of Freak Show because of the diverse cast of characters. I’m conflicted but either of those seasons would have been tons of fun! I love all things paranormal, including Ghost Adventures, so I would love to bring any aspects of that to reality. There hasn’t been a whole lot of paranormal on AHS, unfortunately, but it’s something I love! My dream is to become a professional paranormal investigator in my spare time.”
If you had to pick one thing (book, computer, person) to keep with you for the rest of your life, with it being the only consistent and stable thing, what would it be?
“That’s tough! There’s so many things I would want to keep with me for the rest of my life! I would have to say my best friend, Tyler, because no matter what there would always be some sort of entertainment. Plus, who wouldn’t want to have their best friend be the most consistent and stable thing in their life?”
Which actor/actress would you want to star beside you in a cheesy romcom (romantic comedy)?
“That’s easy! John Krasinski hands down! He seems really down-to-earth and easy to work with. I love everything that he’s been in, so I think he would be great to be in a movie relationship with. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that I have a crush on him!”
What is one thing you want people to know about you before you leave FSU?
“One thing I want people to know about me before I leave FSU is that I truly am thankful for all of the wonderful experiences I’ve had in my three and a half years here. I have gotten to work with so many great people on this campus and many of those relationships have helped to shape my future career goals. I’ve loved getting to know great individuals through my various positions on campus and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m also not as introverted and closed off as people may think I am- I just have a very busy schedule!”
