On Friday, January 29, Fordham’s Lincoln Center Campus’ Winterfest Concert Committee and Campus Activities Board hosted their annual Winterfest Concert featuring the Los Angeles based artist, BØRNS.

The night kicked off at 5:30 p.m. with two FCLC class of 2019 undergraduate students playing the acoustic guitar and the violin. They sang several famous hits, including “Skinny Love” and “Billionaire,” in addition to an original song that was a major hit with the crowd.

The opening acts continued with Avenue Eight, featuring Lincoln Center freshmen. This Pop Rock/Funk band played several original songs, soon to be released on their EP. The band also played great hits, such as “I Want You Back.”

The artist that everyone was waiting for came on with his band around 7:30 p.m. and did not fail to deliver. Fordham’s undergraduate students went wild for each of his songs, including his hit single Electric Love.

The Winterfest Concert Committee went the extra mile with a variety of light changes to add to the vibe of BØRNS’ music. This talented indie pop artist sold out every ticket the committee had to offer for the 2016 Winterfest.

The Fordham community was very lucky to catch BØRNS live in concert before he appears in Coachella later this year.
