Navigating food around the holidays can be tough especially if you’re like me, a vegan in a family of meat-eaters… Here are some of my go to vegan Thanksgiving recipes that are so easy to make and are so delicious!

Tempeh Turkey

I personally prefer tempeh over tofu and love making this to substitute for turkey! It’s full of protein and with all the same classic Thanksgiving seasonings but without having to spend hours cooking in the oven.

Gravy

My favorite part about a Thanksgiving meal is using a dinner roll to sop up all the leftover gravy on my plate. I thought I would never be able to do this again once I transitioned to becoming a vegan until I found this recipe! If you don’t want to make it from scratch yourself, I also love to buy the premade gravy from Simply Organic or Pacific Foods!

Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are no doubt the star of the show on Thanksgiving and are so easy to convert to being vegan by subbing for a non-dairy milk and butter!

Brussels Sprouts

I feel like brussels sprouts often get a bad rap when it comes to vegetables and side dishes but when they’re cooked right, they are SO GOOD. I love using this recipe year-round but especially as a side on Thanksgiving.

Pumpkin Pie

I LOVE pumpkin pie and was worried it would be too hard to make vegan but with a simple replacement of coconut milk for condensed milk it comes out great! I was worried that using coconut milk would alter the taste, but you literally can’t tell a difference at all. This can also easily be made gluten free with a store-bought gluten free crust or you can make your own!
