Dressed for the Cosmos

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fordham chapter.

This year’s theme for the always highly anticipated Under the Tent dance is Caught in the Cosmos. This galactic theme is meant to encourage fun, bold, and structured apparel that even Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century, would love to wear. Think the colors of the cosmos, like different shades of blues, purples, and blacks, when trying to find a flawless dress. Because you might be confused as to what to wear, here are some ideas to help you pick the perfect dress for a perfect night!

Pairing an intense black dress with cutouts and a structured neckline creates a match made in heaven (or should I say the cosmos?). These daring black dresses are great examples of different ways you could stick with the theme.

A gorgeous, vibrant blue would be a perfect color to wear to this year’s Under the Tent.  These two dresses from Tobi are fun and captivating and would definitely complement this cosmic theme.

With a theme like Caught in the Cosmos, a bold purple dress would also definitely make a galactic statement. These two dresses combine glitter and structure to result in a perfect fit for this space-themed night.

And of course, who doesn’t think of glitter when they think of Caught in the Cosmos? Dresses covered in dazzling sequins like these two will catch everyone’s eyes and are sure to be stars of the show.

And if none of these dresses are quite what you are looking for, just channel your inner Zenon and you’ll be sure to find the perfect dress.
