1) Tell us about this year’s softball team. We’re 32-12 and achieved our highest ranking ever of 30th overall. We hope to have a 5-peat in the Atlantic 10 Conference and make a solid playoff run.

2) What is your favorite softball memory? Winning A10’s my freshman year.

3) What does ROTC add to your college career? Army ROTC offers me leadership qualities that I can transfer to my athletic career. It challenges me physically and mentally and allows me to develop skills that benefit my future career.

4) What’s the best class you’ve taken at Fordham? U.S. History with Samantha Brehaspat

5) If you had paparazzi following you everywhere, what would be your signature pose? Flexin’

6) All time favorite ice cream flavor: Chocolate Peanut Butter (chunks not swirls)

13) What is your favorite thing about Fordham? I love adventures and going places I have never been. Being so close to New York City offers me a new place to visit in every free moment I have. 

14) Do you have any advice for your fellow Rams? Take advantage of all the opportunities around you. Go out & volunteer. Join clubs. Make something. Do more than just study. You find your passions out in the world, not in books.

Lauren is a senior at Fordham University pursuing a degree in Journalism and Political Science. With a career goal of being a broadcast journalist, she is spending time interning at networks such as NBC and FOX. Hobbies include writing for Her Campus and singing in Fordham's all-female a cappella group, the Satin Dolls, as well as drinking too much coffee, listening to far too many boy bands, and watching Buzzfeed Tasty videos one after another.
