Bryan Matis, GSB ’12

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Fordham chapter.

Name: Bryan Matis, GSB ’12 (but wishes this wasn’t his senior year!)

Major: Finance Major; Math and Economics Minor

Single or Taken: Single

What he’s looking for in a girl: “There are three main things I look for; I like someone who is smart and interesting – that’s first.  Someone easy to talk to, very affable. And someone with a warm personality and a good heart.”

Why he picked Fordham: “I wanted a small college campus with close proximity to the city.”

Campus Involvement: “I am the executive vice-president of Fordham’s United Student Government and have served on the executive board for the past three years.  I also am a business management research assistant for a professor at Fordham.”

Hobbies: “I have played guitar for the past 11 years and record music on my own as well. The Goo Goo Dolls are my biggest inspiration and I attribute my musical interests to them. I enjoy a good game of Texas Hold’em. And a good book is always relaxing, my favorite book is called The Art of War by Sun Tzu. It’s about overcoming obstacles and preparing yourself for competition and tough situations.”
